 About the Artist

Anma (Jaquelyn Gordon) is a visionary artist living in Millis, Massachusetts. With great delight, she has created in a multitude of ways all of her life and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.

In 1989, after not painting for 15 years, she began a serious commitment to yoga and soon became strongly urged to begin painting in a new way. She has always been drawn to alternative forms of healing and is now a kundalini yoga teacher.

Prior to her involvement with New Age art, Anma designed jewelry for Pierre Cardin, designed and sculpted dolls and toys for Mattel and Hasbro, and cared for others as a home health aide.

Her creative name "Anma" was her great grandmother's. She uses it in honor of her two grandmothers and her two great-grandmothers, all exceptionally strong women who have inspired her . . .
